Overview
Idea
Create a consortium of organizations, programs, and businesses centered on equipping, empowering, encouraging, and engaging Black and other BIPOC communities to enhance their educational advancement, economic mobility, and social liberation.
Implementation
Anchored by the Black United Fund, this project channels charitable funds to provide support to local communities of color with a focus on youth.
Results
This mixed-use office and retail building is designed to focus on justice through philanthropy, advancing public policy, educational programs, community development and engagement, culturally specific training, bridge building, and business development.

Secured $6M low-interest loan and $900K grant in Cultural Business Hub funding from Prosper Portland
Secured $3.6M from the Portland Clean Energy Fund (PCEF) for a 60 kW solar array and energy efficiency measures

Engaged over 25 interested value-aligned organizations for potential tenancy
